How did you get introduced to TMS therapy?

I first was introduced to TMS during one of my undergrad classes but I first interacted with TMS at a previous job at MUSC. We were investigating how to use TMS therapy for other issues such as addiction. I was trained on how TMS works and patient care.

Why did you decide to focus on mental health and treating depression?

I’ve always had a passion for psychology and helping others. I was a treater at one point and seeing the progression in patients was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had.

What would you say to someone who’s never tried TMS Therapy?

TMS is completely safe and with no side effects! Having an option that does not require medication but can also take you off of medication is something to really consider!
